Sass Somekh

Mr. Somekh has thirty five years of experience as an operating executive and angel investor. Mr. Somekh was most recently the President of Novellus Systems, a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer. Previously, he was the Executive Vice President of Applied Materials. At Applied Materials, Mr. Somekh was instrumental in growing the company’s revenues from $50 million to over $1 Billion. Mr. Somekh has been an active angel investor for the past two years and has worked on several private and public company Boards. He has broad international academic and venture relationships including Sequoia Capital, Benchmark and USVP. Mr. Somekh holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from CalTech and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Tel Aviv University. |
